Sharing Custom Rules
To share a list of custom rules with someone else, export it and send the generated file to them by your method of choice. The recipient will then be able to add it as a new list of custom rules.
Importing
Importing lets you automatically add a list of custom rules. Click the Add button in the bottom left-hand corner of the customizations window, and choose Select from the menu. Antidote will then ask you to choose an import file.
- Import files for custom rules lists are in APRS format and are UTF-8 encoded.
- When you select a custom rules list to import, Antidote gives you the option of moving the list or making a copy of it in the folder where Antidote stores customization information.
Copying a list of rules to share it
The rules you add to custom lists are stored in APRS format files. The filenames match the names of the custom rules lists, which appear on the left-hand side of the customizations window. These files are created by Antidote itself and can only be modified by Antidote. They contain all your custom rules. Given the importance of these files, be careful not to accidentally delete them; you risk losing all your customizations.
- It is recommended you archive these files regularly.
- With subscription A small cloud icon () indicates that the element will be synchronized across all your applications (see Synchronization).
