Text Search in the Dictionaries
You can search for words that appear in the main panel of the dictionaries (i.e., in the entries themselves). Right-click the dictionaries window and select Search… to display a search bar at the bottom of the window. You can also u Use the keyboard shortcuts ⌘ + F (Mac) or Ctrl + F (Windows) to bring up your browser’s search tool. Any occurrences of the character string you enter will be highlighted in the current dictionary. Click the arrows to move between them. Depending on your browser, cClick Done or X to close the search bartool. In some dictionaries (combinations, rhymes, etc.), a search bar is always visible at the bottom of the windowscreen. Type a string of characters to filter the list of results so it only displays those containing the search string.
