Adjusting the Settings
In the figure shown below, the setting for correcting prepositions at the end of a sentence is enabled: the corrector will flag sentences like Where are you coming from? Hovering the cursor over each setting and over each of its values (if any) brings up a tooltip explaining your options.
Recommended values
Click the Recommended valuesApply recommended values button at the bottom of the settings panel to apply the default settings. Note that the recommended configuration for certain settings (difficulties, false friends, etc.) may vary according to the written English ability level defined in the User Panel of the Language Settings. For example, if you indicated in Antidote’s settings that English is not your first language and that your written English is not very good, the recommended values for false friends will be automatically set to maximum sensitivity.
- If the button is greyed out, the recommended settings are already applied in the current panel.
