Anti-Oops! for French

The French Module includes a version of Anti-Oops! (spelled Anti-Oups! in French) that is specially adapted to emails written in French. As soon as it spots English or French text in your message, it runs it through Antidote’s corrector to detect any possible errors and remind you of a file you may have forgotten to attach. To this end, Anti-Oops! scans your emails for sequences of words such as veuillez trouver le fichier ci-joint (“please find the attached file”) or je vous envoie une ébauche… (“I am sending you a draft”).

The same settings apply to both the French and English versions of Anti-Oops!, including those that govern the list of words to be excluded from the corrector’s analysis and that disable correction for certain recipients (see the Settings chapter).

Note — For more information on Anti-Oops! technology, see the Anti-Oops! section.
