Running Antidote From Local Software
This section of the guide describes the two most common ways you can launch Antidote Web from locally installed software: by using the Antidote Agent or the menu in the application interface.
Using the Antidote Agent
The Antidote Agent is linked to your operating system and lets you run Antidote Web from the Windows taskbar or the Mac menu bar.
- On Windows
Right-click the flask icon to open the menu and choose the tool you would like to run. If Antidote’s flask icon is not visible in the taskbar, you can display it by clicking the chevron in the system tray.
Tip — Click and drag the flask icon into the main system tray area if you would like it to remain visible.

- On a Mac
Click the flask icon to open the menu and choose the tool you would like to run.
Tip — You can reposition the flask icon in the menu bar by clicking it and holding down the Command key ⌘ while you drag it to a new spot.

Using Antidote’s Menu
Most compatible applications display the Antidote menu. See how it appears in Microsoft Word below. With the icons for the corrector, dictionaries and guides clearly visible in the interface, this is the most convenient way to run Antidote Web.
