Druide Informatique announces the release of free updates for the entire range of its renowned writing assistance software. These updates improve both the English and French correctors, add thousands of new words to the dictionaries and deliver a number of improvements on all platforms.

Antidote 11 v4 corrects texts more quickly and more accurately, thanks to a host of analyzer improvements, including better capitalization correction. Extensive work has also gone into the dictionaries: 3100 new words have been added in English, including breathwork, bingeable and friendshoring. The French edition also features 1000 new words and phrases, including televorer, alunisseur and cyclologistique, as well as thousands of pronunciations and synonyms. The update also provides users of the bilingual edition with over 10,000 new translations.

Chat messages can now be corrected in macOS’s Messages application, and several integrations have been improved, including those with LibreOffice, Thunderbird, MS Teams, alongside the LaTeX and Markdown format filters.

Antidote Web includes all these features, plus new functionality. Videos are available to help users familiarize themselves with the application. Custom settings can now be synchronized with Antidote 11. Access control, still in beta mode, responds to user feedback by showing which user locked access to a tool or to resource content and by maintaining separate group supervisor access settings.

Antidote Mobile benefits from the same expanded dictionaries and even adds some exclusive new features of its own. Handoff support makes it easy to switch from Mac to iPhone to iPad without losing track of search history. Users can now share game scores on Mastodon and look up words contained in dictionary entries and guide articles. The history and favourites screens have also been completely redesigned.

Antidote 11 for Windows and Mac will automatically prompt users to download the update and the App Store will do the same for Antidote Mobile. Antidote Web has already been updated. Users who own an earlier edition of the software can upgrade to Antidote 11 by visiting www.antidote.info.

Druide Informatique produces and markets Antidote, the most comprehensive writing assistance software suite available for English and French, as well as Typing Pal, the renowned typing tutorial application. The company also created WebElixir, a quality-assurance service for websites. In addition to its software, Druide also publishes French-language literature and reference works through its subsidiary, Éditions Druide.
